Relief

I passed the glucose test. I am relieved as I know several people who have had to deal with the longer test and a few who had gestational diabetes. With one last vacation on the horizon I am glad to have this crossed off my list. :)

Pictures and the Doctor

Here is a picture from the shower. As you can see, I am really starting to look pregnant. We played some great games including the one where people use ribbon to guess how big my belly is :). We went to the doctor today and marked the shift between going every four weeks and going every two weeks. Everything went well!

Baby Shower

My wonderful friends, Angela, Millie, and Amanda, and my sister-in-law, Blake, threw me a wonderful baby shower in Atlanta this weekend. I had an amazing time and was overwhelmed by all of the thoughtful gifts for our sweet girl. I will post pictures shortly!

Going visiting and to Grandpa Dave's birthday

We are off this week for a trip to North Carolina to celebrate Dave's 60th birthday. We are taking our first child Catherine with us to give her room to ramble. She will also get to meet Sally's parents' new dog Joey when Kathy comes to join Sally in North Carolina. Sally got clearance to travel from the doctor today and enjoyed hearing Splinter's heartbeat.

24 Weeks

We marked the 4th of July with a visit to Atlanta and North Carolina. We had a great time with family and friends. Splinter continues to move more and more. She definitely likes to let her parents know she is there :). You can see Sally's belly jump now.
