Smiling at almost two weeks

Here I am next to the penguin. It is a couple days early, but mommy says bringing a two foot penguin to Atlanta is not a good idea in the car with me, Mommy, Daddy and Catherine. Please keep us in your thoughts as we drive for ten hours. They are hoping I will sleep most of it. Happy Holidays!

Eight Weeks and Content

Here I am being very content. Mommy and Daddy have noticed more of that lately. I am learning how to observe the world and enjoy taking it all in. I have recovered nicely from my shots and Mommy was able to get my birth certificate so I can fly!

A quick update

I made it through the first round of shots and the doctor says I am growing very well. I was not pleaed with the shots, but have not been too hard on Mommy either. We are now ready to travel to Atlanta soon for Christmas and my Baptism (whatever that is)

Smiles before the shots!

Here are cute smiles from this morning. Mommy and Daddy are talking about something called the doctor that I have to go to tomorrow. They are talking about shots and how I won't like them. I don't know about that but we shall see.

Seven Weeks

This is my friend James. He is an older man at 5 months. Mommy said I was flirting! His mommy Beth and Mommy met in the Junior League. It was fun to meet both of them.
This is me in my swing the day I turned seven weeks. I am even taller now than I was last week.
I like to eat Daddy's nose. It is a fun game and he makes lots of noise.
This is one of my favorite games...Super baby! With me up to 11 and a half pounds it makes Mommy's arms tired quickly!
Here I am grinning at the camera. I am getting good at smiling, but it happens more in the morning than the evening...

Aunt Amanda and Progress

My Aunt Amanda came to visit this week! It was great! She took all sorts of pictures, cooked for Mommy and Daddy, helped organize and generally made them very happy. I made them happy when I slept seven straight hours one night. I have only done that once, but I try for five to six most nights (though I have to give them a rough night every couple so they appreciate the others). Also I went to lots of interviews this week. I am not sure about them, but Mommy is happy because she has found a wonderful nanny for me and Edina once she and Danielle (Edina's mom) go back to work. She seems very relieved. Thankfully that is not until the end of January.

In the meantime here are some pictures. This one is me and Mommy hanging out.
This is me after the bath. I have funny hair and I am not HAPPY!
Here I am with Aunt Amanda. The onesie says "little stinker" which sometimes I am :)
This is one of my favorite outfits. Mommy and Aunt Amanda decided I am the pink Buddha in this one.

Six Weeks and More Thanksgiving pictures

It has been a busy week. I have made some sleeping progress though everytime I let Mommy and Daddy think we have a system I go and have a rough night...Oh well the better to keep them on their toes.
Here is the Thanksgiving meal. I was good and spent most of it happily in my swing and Daddy took the picture. I am told that next year will be lots more people. Mommy's family came to us this year because I am too little to fly yet.
Here is Daddy and Uncle Obbie frying the Turkey.

Friday night we went to some place called Chevy Chase and we had our first dinner out. Mommy says I was very good and slept almost the whole time. I was not even quite awake for this picture.

I also got to go on my first walk in the stroller with Catherine. We think that is going to work out very well. I went to sleep and then slept over an hour when I got home.

I went out to lunch for something called Fish and Chips with Mommy and Granny in Alexandria. We also went shopping. Granny and Mommy are good at that. Granny pushed my stroller. I liked the bumpy sidewalks. It was fun.
Here I am at six weeks. I got to wear my turkey suit again for fun. I am really starting to interact with people.
I even smiled right at Daddy. He got a very big smile back for me. Mommy is hoping she will get hers soon. :)
