Spring is coming!

Here I am in my new swing. Mommy got it for me and Daddy set it up on my swing set :) Here is a cute picture of Edina and I that Keisha took. I am still really enjoying spending my days with both of them.

Mommy and Granny had too much fun putting me into lots of sunglasses at the store...They didn't buy me any :(

A few from Florida

Here I am having my first trip in a hot tub (Don't worry it was only about 95 degrees) I loved it!Auntie B dried me off afterwards. She is so sweet to me. Uncle Obbie is great at lifting me up and playing games with me to get me to stop fussing and Auntie B likes to talk to me and distract me with her floppy hair.

Here I am with Grumps at my very first wedding. We saw John and DJ get married and partied the night away. I got to stay up past my bed time :)

Five Months (and a week :))

I have made it to five months. Mommy had to take my picture late because we were away from the penguin in Atlanta for her spring break. This picture shows the biggest change since last month. I am very interested in the world around me. Now I am looking at the penguin. Mommy and Daddy are talking about big things to come like sleeping in my own bed and starting solids. We shall see how I like those things. I am also fussy in a new way often in the middle of the night which has them guessing that I am working on something called teeth...More pictures from our trip to come.

My friend Catherine

Many of you have asked about Catherine and what she thinks of me. She is doing a great job. She misses the attention I steal, but at the same time I mean that there are people home more so that is a good thing. I love watching her. It is one of my favorite games.

Reading

I love books. Having people read to me is one of my favorite things. Thankfully we have lots since Mommy and Daddy have wonderful friends who sent them before I came. Here are a couple pictures of me reading with Daddy. We are reading Corduroy his favorite book that Grandma and Grandpa gave me.

Slumber Party and A Snow Day

So Monday this week. I got to hang out with Mommy because we had a big snow storm. Here I am helping her cook (that is what I call it when I sit happily in my chair and watch). Here I am earlier in the day enjoying hanging out in my pjs with my stuffed penguin.

Here is what our backyard looked like...Daddy had to shovel the front walk and dig out his car to go to work...

Saturday night we had Edina come play for a slumber party. Her parents and Mommy and Daddy have a deal where they take turns watching us so that they can have dates every once in a while. Her parents actually got to go see a movie. We had a great time and both went to bed before they got home so Mommy calls it a slumber party.
